Building Momentum

I made some gains this week.  I exercised 3x, and it felt great.  I am amazed at how fleeting that feeling of "taking on the world" is when not exercising regularly.  It is so hard for my mind to recreate it as motivation, which is understandable since it is probably endorphine-induced.  I am also pleased with the amount of testing I did this week.  Like I said in my last post, everything seems to fall into place when my health is at the top of the priority list.

I am also the proud owner of the new TSlim pump.  It is touchscreen, and I am very excited to get trained and try out all of its awesomeness.

I have to say, putting myself on a deadline is a little awkward with this blog.  Usually, a post idea, certain phrase, or title enters my brain and I go from there.  I have been plugging along, trying to do the things I outlined in the last post, but nothing outlandish happened.  No epiphany about my diabetes.  Just doing my thing.  But I felt like I had to come up with something for my "homework," staying true to what I promised myself I would do.

But maybe that's the lesson this week.  Sometimes it's about plugging away.  Just keep going.  It may mean a ho-hum blog or two, but better that than radio silence.  So this is me, plugging away.
